It takes us 18-steps, 25 years of experience working with metals, and many hours to produce the final product. Briefly (so we don’t give away all of our secrets), here's how we produce a consistent quality day-in and day-out: |
- We start by carefully picking our suppliers of the stainless steel sheets. We use T-304 stainless steel sheets, 10-gauge thick. A consistent grade of stainless steel is ideally suited to produce a polished finish - as bright as a mirror. But we still inspect each sheet before it's polished to make sure that there aren’t flaws that polishing can’t remove.
- Then we use our proprietary machinery and experienced staff (averaging over 10 years of experience producing architecture and artist quality polished metals) to get that mirror bright finish. Of course we inspect between each step.
- We designed the polishing machinery as a result of over 25 years of experience producing polished metals to meet the exacting standards of artists and architects that have gone into The Library of Congress, Time Warner Building in NYC, several Atlantic City and Las Vegas Casinos and several Major airports.
- Once the bumper shape is cut out to the exact measurements of the truck model, the hardest step is welding the seams and blending them with the shine of the flat surface. This takes special tools but mostly the artistry of our experienced staff.

- To make the bumpers sturdy without adding needless weight to your trucks, we weld stainless steel flanges behind the bumper to stiffen it. Of course, the weld we use is 100% stainless also, so that we don’t corrupt the rust resistant characteristics you expect in a stainless steel bumper.
- At precise intervals following model specific patterns and your choices, holes are added for screws, tow hook holes and lights. After a final quality inspection and to make sure we are shipping the right bumper to the right owner, we pack carefully and ship using one of the national couriers. You have your bumper in a matter of days after your order.
